Polybutene (PB) is a high molecular polymer, mainly composed of butene polymerization, and is a high molecular homopolymer. Compared with other polyolefins:
1. Rigidity.
2. Primary tensile strength.
3. Good heat resistance.
4. Chemical corrosion resistance. In oil, detergent and other solvents, it will not become brittle like other plastics such as HDPE. It will only become brittle under strong oxidation such as 98% concentrated sulfuric acid.
5. Excellent creep resistance.
6. Has the same wear resistance as ultra-high molecular weight.
