Construction description:
Construction condition: Temperature of painting substrate: 20ºC- 45ºC
The relative humidity is below 90%, the substrate surface temperature is over 3ºC higher than the dew point temperature and both the humidity and temperature shall be measured near the substrate.
Outdoor painting is not allowed in rainy, snowy, foggy or strongly windy days.

Tool cleaning: DOP or special cleaning agent
Surface treatment:
Direct coating: Treat to Sa2.5 level by sand blasting with the surface roughness of 55-70μm.
Primer coating: Paint the polyurea material within the effective coating interval of special primer for polyurea and paint the special primer again if exceeding the effective coating interval.

Storage:
The corrosion resistant coating material shall be stored in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse and away from heat or fire source. The packaging container shall be kept sealed to achieve a storage period of one year.
Safety:
All fire sources must be banned at the paint preparation and construction site. Construction personnel should wear protective equipment to avoid skin contact with the coating. If paint is spilled on the skin during construction, the skin should be immediately washed with a suitable cleaning agent or soapy water and consulted for medical treatment.
Application in pipeline anti corrosion field:
At present, in the international anti-corrosion field, it has such a consensus for the selection of large, long life, high security of anti-corrosive pipeline that the better of selected anti-corrosive layer is, the more economic it is. Under this situation, high performance of SPUA material has become the optimal choice to the outer wall of anti-corrosion.
The polyurea technology is more advanced than the 3PE structure of anti-corrosion and double fusion bonded epoxy powder. It breaks the traditional defects of heating and winding anti-corrosive coating heating. The coating thickness can reach 1 to 2mm, which greatly simplifies the coating process. SPUA technology for external coating of pipeline focuses on the physical performance, anti-corrosion and constructional performance, which mainly shows as follows:
The curing is fast, a few seconds of gel, continuous spraying for pipes without flowing and the time is short;
With 100% solid content and without volatile organic compounds, it complies with environmental requirements;
It has compact coating, no seams, outstanding medium resistance. Moreover, it can be used in such strong corrosive environment as the swamps, ponds, salt oil and the stone area.
It has highly mechanical strength and the impact resistance can be up to 10J. It cannot be easy to damage in the process of handling;
It requires no primer paint, and the adhesive force on steels in the sand blasting of Sa2.5 level is greater than 10MPa;
It has wide temperature range and can be used for long within the range of - 50 to 150ºC.
The resistant breakdown voltage is up to 25kv/mm;
It has a good combination with the cathodic protection.
Corrosion Resistant Coating have obtained drinking water certification of WARS and certification of drinking water products of China's Ministry of Health. Moreover, it has reached the leading level and met the international standard in the domestic industries.
Due to the limitation of sizes of spray gun, the application of SPUA anti-corrosion material inner wall focuses on the large diameter pipe (more than 800mm). According to international practice, the large diameter gives priority to the ductile iron pipe and the steel pipe; the super-large diameter gives priority to the cement pipe. SPUA materials can be widely used for the inner wall anti-corrosion of ductile iron pipes, steel pipes and cement pipe walls.
SPUA materials used for inner wall anti-corrosion of cast-iron pipe has the following advantages:
It has good adhesive force, no crack, strong corrosion resistance and long service life.
It has a smooth surface, hydraulic friction coefficient is less than that of the concrete tube and steel tube, which can improve the ability of water supply. Under conditions of the same diameter, it can save the pump power and energy by more than 20%, which greatly reduces the operation cost.
No scale, water quality will not be polluted or generates the rust due to oxidation by the fungi microbial contamination in the water. It does not produce secondary pollution and can maintain a permanent carrying capacity, with clean and constant water quality.
It has passed the certification of USDA and can be used for drinking water pipeline.
